My son has two windows in his room but will pull down curtains or shades and so it isn't feasible or safe for him to have any window treatments. But he also needs room blackout curtains so he doesn't wake too early and has an easy time falling asleep at night. This is the perfect solution. They were affordable and quick and easy to install.It should be noted that these feel and look like a high quality plastic tablecloth. They are sturdy enough that they won't rip easily but I'm fairly certain they won't last super long for my son but thankfully there is enough material that we will be able to replace one if need be. I thought they were supposed to come with 6 pieces of velcro but instead only had 5. I was able to cut the velcro strips such that each curtain had 4 pieces securing it, one in each corner. It also came with sticky dots but I didn't try using them yet.The set comes with a drawstring bag for storage, measuring tape, and marker. The material was super easy to cut and the creases from being stored folded helped me cut the edge straight.These really do block out light. There are pinholes of light that get through but honestly it does an excellent job regardless. I could use the sticky dots to help stick down the top better so light doesn't come through but I think it's good enough for now. The reverse side is silver.For the price and ease and results I think this is a great value of solid quality. These are probably best to use for travel with a baby or child or for windows where you are renting and cant put up permanent window treatments. Also good for a child who is prone to pulling down their window treatments.
