These curtains are beautiful and go well in my Japanese inspired bedroom! The color is a little faded but I imagine that is more due to the kind of fabric used. It’s silky and very soft. They do well in blocking out a large portion of light from my bedroom, which in turn helps me sleep better since I’m up late and sleep through the morning. I’d definitely buy again if I had anymore windows to cover!These curtains are fun. They bring color to our room. They don't completely block light but block enough I would consider them black out curtains. We have 2 standard windows so we have one curtain on each side of the room. They would definitely darken a room, just not blackout. Not particularly soft or great material/feel.
